dc.description The study population was divided into two groups based on BMI: normal weight (NW) and overweight (OW). The NW group consisted of 21 women with a maximum BMI of 24.9 kg/m2. In contrast, the OW group consisted of 20 women, classified according to the WHO criteria for overweight, defined as a BMI between 25 kg/m² and 29.9 kg/m² for adults.. In this dataset, we recorded continuous 23-minute transabdominal signals from participants in both the NW and OW groups. The Electrophysiological data was acquired using the maternal-fetal monitor Baby-Card (Scientific and Research Center “KhAI Medica,” Ukraine) (Viunytskyi and Shulgin 2017a, 2017b), with a sampling rate of 1000 Hz, a 16-bit resolution, and a range of ±8 mV. The raw monopolar abdominal channels C1, C3, C4 and C7 were selected (Figure 1).
