Abstract
Description
This dataset contains anonymized clinical and physiological data from pediatric cancer patients evaluated during active treatment (T) or surveillance/follow-up (S). The repository includes data from 40 participants, with 20 cases in each group. Clinical variables include age, sex, diagnosis category, time since diagnosis, surveillance duration when applicable, anthropometric data, and medication categories relevant to cardiovascular, autonomic, or electrophysiological regulation.Physiological data are provided as filtered R–R interval and QT interval time series derived from 5-minute resting, supine, single-lead DII electrocardiographic recordings. ECG signals were originally acquired using a BITalino PsychoBIT system at a sampling rate of 1,000 Hz; however, raw ECG recordings are not included in this repository. The available RR and QT series correspond to preprocessed and filtered data obtained using the ada_filter workflow. The repository also includes recurrence plots and recurrence-based outputs for the S and T groups, together with GraphPad Prism files and/or statistical data used for group comparisons. In addition, analysis scripts are provided to reproduce the main manuscript figures and associated statistical summaries. Overall, this dataset supports transparency, reproducibility, and secondary analyses of autonomic and ventricular repolarization dynamics in pediatric oncology patients across different stages of care.
