Abstract
Description
This open dataset provides raw signals and derived features from 90 university students (18–23 years) recorded in 2023–2024 at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (Toluca, Mexico). Electrocardiogram (ECG, lead II) and respiratory signals were acquired simultaneously for 5 minutes at 1000 Hz using a BIOPAC MP150 with ECG100C and RESP100 modules. Sessions were conducted between 07:30–11:00 in a quiet room, with participants supine, awake, and breathing spontaneously.Plain-text files (.txt) contain two synchronized columns: column 1 = ECG; column 2 = RESP.An accompanying spreadsheet (.xlsx) compiles, for each participant, (i) HRV, BRV, and PRQ metrics, (ii) clinical vitals, and (iii) anthropometry/body-composition and physical-activity variables. Spreadsheet headers include identifiers and demographics; health/medication status; SpO₂; systolic/diastolic blood pressure; weight, height, BMI; body-fat %, skeletal muscle, visceral fat (VFR) and normalized VFR; body water, bone mass, metabolic age; WHO-based BMI and body-fat categories; IPAQ-derived activity measures (days/time by intensity, walking, sitting, total METs); and an extensive set of HRV/BRV/PRQ indices. The exact column names are provided in the spreadsheet. All data are anonymized.
